NHS Login

Authentication for the Portasana Patient App just got even easier with the encrypted NHS Login feature in cooperation with NHS Digital. With a NHS Login account, patients now can verify their identity from the comfort of their home without having to visit their providers offices in person.

Once a patient is authenticated in Portasana using NHS Login, they can safely connect to all their healthcare providers with just one click of a button. No additional verification needed.

NHS Smartcard

Wellola also supports Single Sign-On (SSO) via NHS Smartcard for staff. With this integration, staff do not need to manage additional login credentials when accessing a Portasana feature from their EPR. Whether your organisation deploys physical or digital/virtual cards, NHS Smartcard is their "key" to all clinical systems, reducing admin and increasing ease of use.

This step further increases the interoperability of Portasana as part of Wellolas initiative to fully integrate with existing systems that staff members already know and trained on.
